Cake Smash <3
I love cake smashes.
The colours, the smiles, the splashes, the faces they pull, and of course THE CAKE!!
There is nothing else that I love then sending off a gallery to a client and waiting for a reply when they see their images.
Waiting to hear the excitement of families looking at their images we have created for the very first time.
To create art of their own family that will be shared for generations.
My newborn sessions aren't all about the newborn, although they are a major part.
So often, its the first time the family will be getting family portraits. Or updating them since their last newborn shoot year earlier.
In the shortest time you children change so much, this is why I capture individual shots of all your children.
Exist in photos, for those generations to come to share.
I photographed big brother Jude as a newborn, so I was so excited with his mum emailed me to tell me she was expecting again and would like me to photograph her families newest addition when they arrived earth side.
I then got another email from Danielle, Harvey was eager to meet everyone and was born early.
After spending some time in special care, I finally got to meet Harvey.
He was such a good boy for his session and spent most of his time asleep.
I photographed Riley as a newborn.
She has a head full of black hair and a face full of beautiful cheeks.
She is turning one so we had to celebrate.
She still has a head full of hair, a face full of cheeks and personality to match.
She has some of the best facial expressions I have ever seen in my 5 years of photographing cake smashes.
I laughed the whole time during the session, and the whole time while editing.
When I first met Jess & Liam before their wedding I knew we were going to have a great time. They were everything I hope for in a young couple getting married..........chilled out and excited.
The whole bridal party were alike, you could see why they were drawn to each other as friends.
Everyone one of them were relaxed, and fun. There wasn't a time where they weren't smiling or laughing.
I left this wedding smiling myself, knowing these two were going to laugh their way into old age together.
Bringing home a new baby can be daunting.
There is so many unknowns. How will your family adjust expanding by one? How will your toddler adjust? Will anyone be getting any sleep?
It can be difficult to leave the house for even the smallest amount of time.
That's why in home family lifestyle sessions are a great option. Especially if there is a young sibling to also think about.
These sessions are all about being relaxed in the comfort of your own home.
With winter starting early this year, its a great time to move family sessions inside with the heater on
Milita has only been in Australia for a short amount of time.
She wanted to celebrate her pregnancy whole also show casing this beautiful state to her family back home.
I loved every bit of photographing this session. Milita was so confident and beautiful in front of the camera. She absolutely glowed in this stunning environment.
