Beautiful Family Bush Session

I’m so lucky to have a job where I get to photograph beautiful families, with the most adorable children.

I also have the most incredible bush location 2 minutes down the road from my studio.

Kids love this location. Kids can be kids and explore and play.

This location also has the most amazing light come through in the afternoon.

Its certainly a favourite of mine and many clients.

It doesn't get much cuter

There is nothing cuter when babies I have photographed as newborns come back for their sitter session to update their portraits.

So often as mums, we are the ones behind the camera (or phone) taking pictures of our families.

Capturing those snuggles and tickle time with Dad.

As a photographer i understand the importance of beautiful images of families. As a mum, it’s all I want for myself.

To me, the perfect image isn’t the one where we are all smiling and looking at the camera. Its the ones where the kids are smiling so hard they look like they are going to burst because mum has just given them a big kiss, or tickled them so much they can’t control their laughter.

Those are the ones with all the feelings.

So often as mums we are the ones behind the camera.  Calling for our kids to look and smile at us while we hold a phone or camera in front of our faces trying to capture that perfect shot.

When do we as mothers ever take the time to get beautiful portraits with our children?  

It is a gift to them, a gift to be passed down generations.

Beautiful Newborn - Harvey

I photographed big brother Jude as a newborn, so I was so excited with his mum emailed me to tell me she was expecting again and would like me to photograph her families newest addition when they arrived earth side.

I then got another email from Danielle, Harvey was eager to meet everyone and was born early.

After spending some time in special care, I finally got to meet Harvey.

He was such a good boy for his session and spent most of his time asleep.

When I first met Jess & Liam before their wedding I knew we were going to have a great time.  They were everything I hope for in a young couple getting married..........chilled out and excited.

The whole bridal party were alike, you could see why they were drawn to each other as friends.

Everyone one of them were relaxed, and fun.  There wasn't a time where they weren't smiling or laughing.

I left this wedding smiling myself, knowing these two were going to laugh their way into old age together.
