Geelong Newborn, Family & Wedding Photographer
Hey I’m Kristin,
I’m a newborn, family and wedding photographer. My studio is located in Bannockburn, 20 minutes from Geelong, however I service the Geelong, Melbourne, Ballarat and Colac regions.
I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister and dog lover. There is nothing I love more than spending time with my family, travelling and making memories.
I first discovered my love for photography when my dad handed me his first film SLR camera when I was 12. I was obsessed with capturing every moment and making up stories.
Then the opportunity came to learn to process my films and images in a dark room and I was hooked. I would spend my lunch times at school in the dark room, and would constantly smell like developing chemicals.
Fast forward 13 years, I gave birth to my daughter Evie. I needed to capture everything, she became my muse and what started as my hobby, soon became my business and I now capture hundreds newborns every year.
Being a mother, I know exactly how hard those first few weeks after bringing baby home can be. You are sleep deprived and everything hurts. I take pride in making the experience as simple as possible.
I have a certificate in Digital Photography through the Photography Institute of Australia and have trained with some of Australia’s award winning photographers in not only lighting and posing, but most importantly your babies safety. Your babies comfort and safety is my top priority.
As well as newborns, I love capturing your family in a relaxed environment. My family sessions are all about natural, fun and beautiful lighting. There is nothing I love more than a beautiful smile and the connection between you and your child.
I have loved capturing so many incredible milestones over the years, and I can’t wait to capture yours.

The Studio
Located in beautiful Bannockburn 20 minutes out of Geelong you will find Kristin Pywell Photography studio.
You will be able to watch your sweet babe have their portraits taken in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
A beautiful boho style bed can be transformed to create lifestyle images in the comfort of the studio.
You will have full use of all of Kristins props, blankets, headbands and hand knitted wraps and bonnets. Kristins maternity wardrobe is also available for use during your maternity session.
