As a mum myself I know how precious and fragile newborns are. Newborn safety is at the top of my priority list, that’s why I have been educated and trained in newborn safe handling.
My aim is to capture the special first moments with your newborn you want to cherish forever in a natural, unobtrusive and relaxed setting for you and your baby.
Document this special period of time that often slips by so fast with a carefully crafted session to suit your bub.
Newborn sessions are best held between 5-14 days to achieve those sleeping baby shots, but that does not mean we cannot acheive beautiful images if you baby has pasted this age.
Beautiful imagery is acheived at any age of your sweet babe.
To secure your spot, the best time to book in your newborn session is in your second trimester.
The Experience
When you arrive you will be greeted by Kristin and welcomed into her cosy, warm studio.
The studio is kept warm to keep your baby comfortable during their session. The session generally takes 1-3 hours and takes into consideration feeding and settling of your little one.
Kristin follows the cues from your baby and goes at their pace to keep your baby settled during this time, and you can relax and enjoy the experience.
The session starts with your baby wrapped up in beautiful hand knitted wraps and continues with a mix of clothed and nude shots, as well as sibling, family and parent shots.
At the end of your newborn session we will organise your ordering session for you to come back and view your beautiful gallery and choose your package and art. Your package and product order will be finalised at this ordering session.
