Embracing the Chaos: Finding Beauty in Imperfect Photos

In a world where every moment is curated and filtered to perfection, it’s easy to forget the charm that lies in the unpredictable, chaotic nature of life. Photography, an art form often associated with capturing the perfect moment, is no exception. But what if we took a step back and embraced the chaos instead? What if we found joy in the imperfect, candid moments.

There's something captivating about a photograph that isn't planned. It captures raw emotions, spontaneous interactions, and the unique beauty of imperfections. These images, are often my favourite from a session. They are a reminder that life is not always picture-perfect, and that’s okay.

The magic of imperfect photos lies in their ability to evoke emotions. They transport us back to moments we might have otherwise forgotten.

We have trained ourselves to strive for perfection. The perfect instagram feed, perfect outfit, perfect hair. Where everyone is looking at the camera with their best smiles.

My favourite image I have with my daughter , my hair is all in my face. But the images takes me back to that moment the photo was taken. Having fun at the beach when she was younger, and missing her two front teeth. Gosh I loved that gummy smile.
