Laughter is the best medicine and creates the best images

When speaking to parents when planning their family photography session with me, often the main concern from parents their childrens behaviour. I often hear “lets hope they behave” or “they don’t love having their photo taken, lets hope they on the best behaviour”.

I have one of these children. Evie hates having her photo taken, and strangers aren’t her favourite thing either.

But do you know what she does love? Being with her family and playing.

Family sessions shouldn’t be a drag. Sure, Grandma wants that photo where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera so she can display it proudly on her wall. And I will always get that shot, but right after you will always get that one with the kids laughing.

My aim is to get that beautiful natural smile from your family in your images.
