Often when we look at booking in a family photography session, we think about summer.
Us photographers, we tend to be control freaks. We want the perfect lighting, and thats the hour before sunset. The golden hour.
In summer, that could be as late as 8.30pm. With little kids this isnt always ideal, they can be tired and hungry. Which means cranky, and who wants to capture that in your family portraits.
The thing I love most about Autumn and Winter sessions (besides the incredible colours) is just how early we can schedule your session.
We can be as photographing your family at 4pm, and you can still be home in time for dinner and the bathtime routine with happy smiley kids.
Geelong and the surrounding areas have some incredible spots for sunset family sessions.
